new study

I am pumped. Today was the first day of Bible study for the spring semester.  It was a nice Christmas break, but I missed my schedule and routine.

We had six new ladies today for Bible study, and four other ladies that bought books that will join us next week.  Several ladies just moved here within the last three months!  I love meeting new ladies and getting the chance to make a new friend.  The spring study is Believing God by Beth Moore.  I am so looking forward to going thorough one of her studies.  I have always taken  the other class offered every time we do a Beth Moore study at Protestant Women of the Chapel.
PWOC or any ladies Bible study group is a great way to make girl friends that will encourage you in your faith and walk with Christ.  I found that to be true in my own life.  I need that time without Kyle or Emma to be able to focus on my relationship with God, and also to encourage my friends in their relationship as well.  I am thankful for the changes that God has brought in my life through a ladies Bible study group.   These women are truly a blessing in my life.

I gotta say - I should just join one at another church. I think it would be so good. not having a facility really bums me out when it comes to stuff like this - do you all have child care provided or is kyles schedule flexible where he watches her. My only alone time is my two hours of childcare at the gym - but its available everyday! It encourages a work out let me tell ya! :) I do have friday afternoons that I have to myself as well which is a real awesome blessing. A friend and I trade days on picking up our preschoolers! It works Out!

The chapel does provide childcare for the Bible study. It is such a blessing! You should try a study at another church. There are probably several churches in your area that would offer a study with childcare.
I know what you mean about needing alone time. The gym I go to does not offer it, so I always have to wait until Kyle is home. I am thinking of switching my membership to another gym in town that offers childcare.
Our grocery/superstore (it's kind of like Target) offers two hours of free childcare, but they have to be two. I will be waiting at the door on Emma's birthday. ha.
